Essential to drawing is the ability to look and engage with the subject matter and to explore the world visually through this process of mark making.
This 6 week course will focus on drawing the basics; texture, form, light, gesture and space. Breaking down each subject into a series of short drawing exercises designed to help you to intuitively develop your mark making and drawing ability whilst also challenging your understanding of what drawing is. Classes will be based both inside
The course will also give the opportunity to work with a wide range of drawing materials from graphite, charcoal and inks. Each of these materials posses unique qualities that effect its mark making capabilities.
