Come and join us for an experimental and playful approach to learning how to print. Each session will concentrate on a different printmaking techniques: mono-printing, collograph, lino and etching as a way of developing drawing skills and and understanding of colour, composition and contrast.
Working from a range of motifs, subjects will include line, gesture, tone, form, composition and colour
Printmaking produces unique and unexpected results which can range from a bold statement to ghostly impressions. Come and explore the incidental qualities and textural possibilities of printmaking and discover a new vocabulary of mark-making.
This course is suitable for all abilities and levels.
