Studio Practice

7 - 11 July 10:00 - 4:00 pm This one-week mentorship course offers individuals the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in a project of their choice. Designed for those already engaged in their own creative work, or for those who have taken several tutored courses and are now seeking to develop a more independent practice, Studio Practice provides a structured yet flexible environment to explore and refine artistic approaches under the guidance of experienced tutors and practicing artists, Jill M Boualaxai & Matthew Storstein. Throughout the week, participants will focus on their ongoing projects while receiving tailored support through individual tutorials. These sessions will help identify the core of each student’s practice and establish strategies for future development. Alongside critical feedback, students will gain new practical skills and receive professional advice on sustaining their practice beyond the course. The studio will be fully equipped with a range of drawing and painting materials, including paper, charcoal, graphite, acrylic and oil paint, pigments, binders, and solvents.
