Tuesdays 6.45 - 9.00 pm 3 - 31 March 2026 Life Printing Tutor: Sarah Calmus Working from the life model in the studio, this 5 week course will concentrate on a different approach to engaging with the human figure combining drawn and printmaking processes. Over the 5 sessions you will explore line, tone, gesture, shape and form. You will have the opportunity to experiment with drawing directly from the model and then using these life drawings as a starting point for collagraph and lino prints. This is a lively, process-led class that’s perfect for anyone who enjoys drawing from the figure but wants to loosen up, experiment and take drawing into print. Printmaking produces unique and unexpected results which can range from a bold statement to ghostly impressions. Each class will begin with a demo or short slide talk looking at the work of artists relevant to what we will be doing in that session. All materials included. Suitable for all levels.

Cancellation & Refunds Policy If Look & Draw needs to cancel or reschedule a class or workshop for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course. If you need to cancel your booking, please note that there is a £30 non-refundable deposit included in the course fee. 14 days or more before the start of a course – you’ll receive a full refund, minus the £30 deposit. Within 14 days of the start date – refunds can’t be offered, but we may be able to offer a credit or discount toward a future class. Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds after the course has started We really appreciate your understanding, advance bookings help us plan and keep the studio running sustainably while supporting our tutors.
