The Look and Draw studio is The Attic Studio at Heart of Newhaven Community, in the former Victoria Primary School building.

We are located just a few minutes' walk from the Newhaven Tram terminus and the stop for the numbers 11 and 16 buses.

Enter through the main reception door and follow the corridor straight ahead. Our studio is on the top floor. Head up the stairs to the top floor until you reach the flamingo, take a sharp right then a left along the corridor. You'll find our studio at the end.

Free on-street parking is available on the surrounding streets, although spaces cannot be guaranteed. Please allow a little extra time to park before your session.

The studio does not have general drop-in opening hours. It is open for scheduled classes, courses, mentoring appointments and booked Studio Spots. For a booked session, you are welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before the advertised start time.

The drawing space is downstairs and is reached by a narrow staircase, so unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible. Look and Draw has hosted regular events at The Safari Lounge since 2018.

The Attic Studio is on the top floor and is reached by three flights of stairs. There is currently no lift, so unfortunately the studio is not wheelchair accessible.
Monthly Drink & Draw sessions take place downstairs at The Safari Lounge and the drawing space is reached by a narrow staircase, so it is also not wheelchair accessible.
