Wednesday 15 April TBC 6 - 9 pm Fiona Oliver Larkin & Jill Martin Boualaxai (Holding description — further detail to follow) This proposed session explores drawing through interruption, constraint, and bodily extension. Using deliberately limiting tools and conditions — such as weighted implements, extended drawing tools, or restricted ways of working — drawing is shaped by resistance, imbalance, and altered gesture. Working with body extensions and objects as collaborators, the session considers how tools can interrupt habitual movement and decision-making. Drawing becomes a negotiation between body, object, and space, rather than an act of control or depiction. The session draws on ideas around gesture, limitation, and extension, with reference to practices such as Rebecca Horn, where objects function as mediators between the body and the act of making marks. This is a provisional outline, intended as a placeholder while the session is still being shaped.

Cancellation & Refunds Policy If Look & Draw needs to cancel or reschedule a class or workshop for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course. If you need to cancel your booking, please note that there is a £30 non-refundable deposit included in the course fee. 14 days or more before the start of a course – you’ll receive a full refund, minus the £30 deposit. Within 14 days of the start date – refunds can’t be offered, but we may be able to offer a credit or discount toward a future class.
