Mentoring with Jill Martin Boualaxai £85 / 1 hour session Need some extra support or guidance in your creative work? You can book a one-to-one session with me, Jill Martin Boualaxai. These sessions draw on my experience as an artist, educator, and curator, and are shaped around what you need most — whether that’s learning new techniques, exploring ideas, or getting grounded feedback to help you move forward in your work. Mentoring might be a good fit if you’re: - Looking for direction in your creative work - Seeking feedback on a project or portfolio - Keen to build hands-on skills in processes like monoprinting, collograph, linocut, egg tempera, encaustic, or traditional paint-making - Reconnecting with your practice after a break Sessions are completely tailored to you and can be practical, conversational, skill-focused, or a mix. Mentoring sessions take place at the Look and Draw studio in Newhaven. In some cases, I may be able to visit your own studio — just get in touch to discuss options. Mentoring is currently offered fortnightly on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, coinciding with our Studio Spot sessions. If you book a mentoring session, you’re welcome to stay on and use the studio for the day. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refunds Policy If Look & Draw needs to cancel or reschedule a class or workshop for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course. If you need to cancel your booking, please note that there is a £30 non-refundable deposit included in the course fee. 14 days or more before the start of a course – you’ll receive a full refund, minus the £30 deposit. Within 14 days of the start date – refunds can’t be offered, but we may be able to offer a credit or discount toward a future class. Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds after the course has started We really appreciate your understanding, advance bookings help us plan and keep the studio running sustainably while supporting our tutors.
