Studio Practice Term / Studio Mentoring

9 January – 27 March Thursdays | 10:00 – 4:00 pm (No session 20 Feb) Our termly mentorship course offers individuals the opportunity for ongoing weekly input into creative practice. Designed for those already engaged in their own creative work, or for those who have taken several tutored courses and are now seeking to develop a more independent practice, Studio Practice provides a structured yet flexible environment to explore and refine artistic approaches under the guidance of experienced tutors and practicing artists, Jill M Boualaxai & Matthew Storstein. Throughout the week, participants will focus on their ongoing projects while receiving tailored support through individual tutorials. These sessions will help identify the core of each student’s practice and establish strategies for future development. Alongside critical feedback, students will gain new practical skills and receive professional advice on sustaining their practice beyond the course. The studio will be fully equipped with a range of drawing and painting materials, including paper, charcoal, graphite, acrylic and oil paint, pigments, binders, and solvents. A full materials list will be provided before the course, allowing students to bring any additional supplies they may wish to use. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refunds Policy If Look & Draw needs to cancel or reschedule a class or workshop for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course. If you need to cancel your booking, please note that there is a £30 non-refundable deposit included in the course fee. 14 days or more before the start of a course – you’ll receive a full refund, minus the £30 deposit. Within 14 days of the start date – refunds can’t be offered, but we may be able to offer a credit or discount toward a future class. Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds after the course has started We really appreciate your understanding, advance bookings help us plan and keep the studio running sustainably while supporting our tutors.
